The HI98311 DiST® 5 is a compact, handheld EC/TDS/temperature tester designed for measuring electrical conductivity (0–3999 µS/cm), TDS (0–2000 ppm), and temperature (0–60°C) with high accuracy. It features a replaceable HI73311 graphite EC/TDS electrode and automatic one-point calibration for both EC and TDS. The tester includes automatic temperature compensation, a user-adjustable EC-to-TDS conversion factor, and temperature correction coefficient ß, making it ideal for water quality monitoring. Description

The HI98311 DiST® 5 EC/TDS/Temperature Tester is designed for precise monitoring of water quality in laboratories, aquaculture, hydroponics, and environmental testing. With EC range of 0–3999 µS/cm and TDS range of 0–2000 ppm, along with temperature measurement, it provides reliable readings for conductivity and dissolved solids. Its automatic calibration and temperature compensation ensure accurate measurements even in variable field conditions. Users can also adjust the EC-to-TDS conversion factor and the temperature correction coefficient ß for customized measurements.

Built for durability and ease of use, the tester has a waterproof casing that floats if dropped, a large LCD displaying stability indicators, calibration tags, and low battery alerts, and a slim ergonomic design that fits comfortably in hand or pocket. Additional features include a HOLD button to freeze readings, two-button operation, and a Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) to avoid low-battery errors, making it ideal for professional and field applications.
