Hanna Instruments HI98161 Professional Foodcare Portable pH Meter
The HI98161 is a tough, waterproof, portable pH meter that uses the FC2023 Foodcare pH electrode to measure pH and temperature. This professional, waterproof meter meets with IP67 standards. All required accessories for performing a pH/temperature measurement are included with the HI98161, and they are packaged in a sturdy thermoformed carrying container that safely holds the meters, probes, and calibration buffers.

For measuring the pH of milk, yogurt, meats, cheeses, fruit, sushi, rice, jams, jellies, bread, ice cream, yogurt, drinks, and juice, the FC2023 electrode is the best option.
Conical Glass Tip
The conical-shaped tip, which is made of low-temperature glass, makes it easier for solids, semi-solids, and emulsions to penetrate and measure pH in food products including milk, cheese, yogurt, and meat.
Open Junction Reference
In order to prevent clogging and prevent silver from entering the sample, the open junction uses a solid gel interface (viscolene) between the sample and the internal Ag/AgCl reference. This allows for a quick and stable reading.
PVDF Body
A food-grade plastic called polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is resistant to the majority of chemicals and solvents, as well as abrasion, microbial growth, ultraviolet and nuclear radiation.
